BELIEFS

The One True God

God is called by many different names because of the different dimensions of His personality, but God is one. God is super-dimensional and eternally self-existent. God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. He is the creator of the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1 & 2). While God is one, He has revealed Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4 | John 8:54-59 | Matthew 28:19

The Bible

The Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation fo God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 | 1 Thessalonians 2:13 | 2 Peter 1:21

The Fall of Man

Man was created in the image of God. By a voluntary act of the will, Adam and Eve disobeyed God . That first sin had several repercussions: Man was excommunicated from the Garden of Eden, a curse was pronounced, the process of physical death began and man died spiritually. Sin separated humankind from God and left man in a fallen and sinful condition.
Genesis 1:27 | Genesis 3:6 | Genesis 3:23 | Genesis 2:17 | Romans 5:12-19 | Romans 3:23

The Salvation of Man

The only means of salvation is Jesus. He died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins. He offers each of us a pardon for our sins and wants us to become children of God.
John 14:6 | I Peter 2:24 | Hebrews 9:26 | John 1:12

When we put our faith in Christ, We are given eternal life. We are adopted and become children of God. Our sins are forgiven. We are credited with the righteousness of Jesus. We experience new life. God takes ownership of us. We receive an eternal inheritance.
John 3:16 | Gal. 4:4-7| Heb. 8:12| Rom. 4:4-5 | John 3:3| I Cor. 6:20 | Ephesians 1:13-14

The evidence of salvation is two-fold. The inward evidence is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit. The outward evidence is the fruit of the Spirit.
Romans 8:16 | Galatians 5:22, 23

The Holy Spirit

The nine fruits of the Spirit are the by-product of a Spirit-filled life and evidence of spiritual maturity. The nine gifts of the Spirit are different manifestations of the Spirit to build up the body. We are instructed to diligently seek the gifts, but they must be exercised in an orderly way in the context of love.
Gal. 5:22-23 | I Cor. 12:1-11 | I Cor. 12:31 | I Cor. 14:26-33 | I Cor. 13:1-13

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

All believers are entitled to and are encouraged to seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus. With it comes the infilling of power for life and service, the contribution of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
Luke 24:19 | Acts 1;4 | Acts 1:8 | I Cor. 12:1-31
With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as: An overflowing fullness of the spirit. A deepened reverence for God. An intensified conservation to God and dedication to His work. An active love for Jesus, His word and for those who do not know Jesus.
Acts 4:8 | Acts 2:43 | Hebrews 12:28 | Acts 2:42 | Mark 16:20 |

The Final Judgement

There will be a final judgment in which the dead will be resurrected and judged according to their works. Everyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life, along with the Devil and his angels, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will be resurrected and stand at the judgment seat of Christ to be rewarded for their good deeds.
Matt. 25:31-46 | Romans 2:1-9 | Rev. 20:11-15 | I Cor. 4:5

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ and has a three-fold purpose: to evangelize the world, to worship God and to equip for ministry.
