We know visiting a new place can be intimidating.
What should I wear? Where do my kids go? What is service like?
There are a lot of thoughts to consider when attending a new church. It's our hope to answer some of those questions before your visit Cornerstone.
WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS CORNERSTONE?
Cornerstone church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God. We are a casual contemporary church which values grace & truth, family and fun. read more about what we believe.
WHEN & WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?
Weekend Services are Saturday's at 5:00 p.m. & Sunday's at 8:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. Cornerstone Church is located in the Sterling Shopping Center at 1403 1st Ave S.W. in Austin, MN. (get directions)
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code at Cornerstone. Some attenders will dress casually and some wear their best. You are free to come just as you are. Where what feels like you.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive at Cornerstone Church service, you will enter the main lobby. You will be greeted by one of our volunteer greeters. There will be some refreshments for you to enjoy on us, you can check your kids (birth-4th grade) in out kids' ministry, Fly Kids. Anyone of your greeters or guest services will help you find restrooms, kids check-in or the main worship center.
WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
Service starts with energetic praise and worship. Once worship is over, (about 10-15 minutes) we have a moment of welcome and announcements followed by an offering. Please don't feel obligated to give. We then continue our service with a message from our lead Pastor, David Simerson (30 minutes). Services is concluded with a brief time to respond to God in prayer or application. Services run about 60 minutes in length.

Our Fly Kids environments provide great weekend experiences at every service. Visit the Fly Kids Guest Services desk where our team will register your children and give them a name badge and a parent pick up code. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, your parent pick-up code will be displayed on the projector screens in the main worship center. If your child code appears, please return to the guest services desk for assistance with your child. At the end of service you may be asked to show your parent pick up code at your child's classroom for your child to be released to you.
